Working with teams in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, IrvineMedia was hired to add impactful copy to a comprehensive social media plan. It was the first time the FIFA Club World Cup had been in The Kingdom, and there were many moving parts to ensure the campaign succeeded.
We had access to a shared document of images and potential posts. While we were guided on TOV, we had to use our creativity to help portray the excitement around the tournament and the on-ground activations. Our deep knowledge of sports, specifically football, was the star player for our approach.
We helped unveil the tournament mascot, Haddaf, created engaging location posts for tourists to the country, and announced the teams and players participating.
